More Halloween photos!

My dada took me trick-or-treating. I got lots of candy in my pumpkin pail. Then I hung out by our front door to greet all the other trick-or-treaters.

The next day, I wore my golf outfit to Gymboree. My golf clubs didn't stop me from going down the slide, climbing on things and running around.

My second Halloween

This past weekend, I celebrated my second Halloween and dressed up as an old-school golfer, complete with tights, a beret-like hat and "pretend" golf clubs. I was a hit! Everyone loved my costume and said I was cute. Heehee. (Mostly my mama and dada.) My mama took so many pictures of me, but I'll only show a few here.

My mama says the silliest photo is the one where I look like I'm walking down a runway, like a model. My dada likes the one where I'm holding a basketball while I'm carrying my clubs. I'm going to "letter" in more than one sport, just like my dada.

I had a very busy past weekend because my Oma came to visit me all the way from New York. See how happy she is? My mama tells me it's because I'm such a good boy -- except when I run away from them (hee hee). We went to a baseball game on Friday night, then we drove around Oakland on Saturday since this was my Oma's first visit to Oakland. On Sunday, we went to the Ferry Building in San Francisco, where my dada and I posed for a photo with Barack Obama (although I know it wasn't really Obama!). I was pretty cool, though. Check out my photos!

Barack the vote!

At first, I wasn't sure who this Barack kid was, but then my mama told me about his policies and now I say "Yes, we can!"

(By the way, my nanny combs my hair up after a bathie, so it stands up straight in the air. Hee hee. It actually lays down flat if my dada combs it.)

Water fun!

Sometimes it gets very hot out here, so my buddy Cory and I play in a little pool on our deck. My mama thinks I look fierce in the first photo, but I'm really having a good time! Check out the video if you don't believe me! By the way, that's Cory crying in the background because he wanted / did not want to be in the pool. He's silly.

Happy me!

I'm normally just very cool and mellow, but I have my moments where my face lights up in a big, happy smile. I don't remember what happened here, but I am all teeth!

Update!

I don't have a picture yet, but I now have a third tooth coming out on the bottom. Probably something happening up on top, too, but I won't show my mama or dada. Heehee.

Today, I pointed to a book on the floor and said "book". Mama and dada were so excited -- I'm not really sure why. They're silly.

I have more than two teeth... I promise

I have at least six teeth. I can't count yet, but that's what my mama tells me. She says she can see four on top and two on the bottom. But I only ever show off my two bottom teeth!

How to dunk a ball

Since you were so impressed with my dunk before, I thought I would show a tutorial on how to dunk. The photos below show the proper, step-by-step technique for a one-handed dunk. I didn't have a basketball handy, so I used a football (American) instead.

My buddy Cory...

During the week, when my mama and dada go to work, I play with Cory all day. We have lots of fun together. He's four months older than me, but I'm almost as tall as he is. But he is much bigger!

How do I get down?

I love climbing onto things, but sometimes I don't know how to get back down, even when I'm only a few inches off the ground. Which is silly, since I am an expert at getting off the couch -- my mama and dada showed me that the best way to do it is backwards, leading with my feet!

I can dunk!

My dada showed me how to dunk, and I'm really good at it! You'll see from the video... After my dunk, my fans started screaming!

The best walker ever!

A day after I turned one, I took ten steps all by myself! About a week later, walking (albeit a little wobbly at times) became my primary mode of locomotion (and, yeah, I do speak like this! haha). The video shows some of my early steps.

My birthday party!

I turned one on June 19, 2008! For my first birthday party, my mama and dada invited all of my little friends (and some of theirs, too). We had a sports theme, and I wore my Suisse soccer jersey, which my cousin Keiana got for me.

When my mama or dada puts me on the changing table to change my diapy, I immediately flip over to my tummy so that they have to wrestle me down. I think this is a fun game -- my mama likes to take pictures of me, so it must be fun for her too!

Swimming!

I love swimming -- I'm a natural!

Don't I just look adorable?

I inherited my daddy's smile. I'm pretty sure that all the little ladies will come runnin'....
